Cockeysville Volunteer Fire Company is proud to announce FF/EMT Gene Parker has been named Firefighter of the Year by the Cockeysville Optimist Club. Gene Parker is a dedicated member, responding to 445 calls in his 3 years with us and devoting over 2,020 hours in the station. Gene is chairman of our membership committee and under his leadership we have voted on 55 new members. He has served as a fire sergeant for 2 years and is a valuable resource to members, always willing to lend a hand. We thank him for his hard work and dedication and say CONGRATULATIONS!
