It is with great sadness that the Cockeysville Volunteer Fire Company announces the passing of Life Member, Paul “Shadow” Price.
Mr Price joined Cockeysville Volunteer Fire Company on October 10, 1955. During his 66 years of service he held the following positions:
1958- First Lieutenant
1959, 1960, 1961- Fire Captain
1962, 1963, 1964, 1965- Assistant Chief
1966- Chief
1967- Assistant Chief
1968- Chief
1969- Fire Captain
1973- President
1978- Chief Engineer
1981, 1982, 1983, 1984- Board of Director
He also served on various committees.
In the later years, members looked for Shadow to do his drive-by through our parking lot giving a little wave and smile to the crews out front.
His dedication to the Cockeysville Volunteer Fire Company, the community, and his family has not gone unnoticed. Thank you for your service Sir and may you rest in peace.
